We are Brian and Michelle Coleman.
We have been together since 2006. We have traveled to almost all of the United States, Mexico, and Europe. We have traveled in our tent, in B&B’s, in hotels, and now in our travel trailer named Casa
Why a blog and YouTube channel?
A better question is why not sooner! We wish we would have started blogging and vlogging from the beginning. We didn’t know how much we wanted those memories captured or how they would inspire others to get out and see the world. Now that we are spending the time writing down our experiences and creating video memories, we realize how much this helps other people. Whether you are looking for travel inspiration, a location/ campground review, or just want to watch “where in the world are the Colemans now,” we have you covered through our blog posts and on our YouTube channel.
What do we do for a living?
Brian is a middle/high school choir teacher and department chair. Michelle is a professor of communication at a local college. We have 2 adult boys and became grandparents in 2020. We had a love for travel and the great outdoors before we met but together that love has grown into something that drives our adventurous spirits and is critical to our happiness. We started as tent campers, living in the REI Kingdom 6 and upgraded to a Kingdom 8, using them seasonally until 2017 when we found CC the Apex.
How did we become “pilgrims?”
It all started with the movie, “The Way” when we watched it on the big screen with fellow hiking friends. We learned our passion for adventure can’t be limited to a single mode of travel. We fell in love with the Camino de Santiago and became “pilgrims” as we trekked along The Way in Spain. In 2017 we hiked the Camino Frances from St. Jean Pied de Port, France to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, and all the way to the end of the Earth in Finisterre, Spain. In 2019, we hiked the Camino Portugués from Lisbon, Portugal to Santiago de Compostela, Spain. In 2022 we walked from Switzerland to Rome, Italy. In 2023, we walked the Camino Frances again. And in 2024, we are walking the Camino del Norte along the northern coast of Spain from Irun to Santiago de Compostela. Maybe we will take you on our next adventure – click on Contact Us for more information. Our goal for the Cruisin’ with the Colemans website is to blog about our travels, take lots of photos, and guide others in their travels. We want everyone to be able to see the world in what little time we are given.
Will we become full-time RVers?
Absolutely, when the time is right. We are blessed to be teachers because we’re able to live in CC about 4 months of the year when you add it all up. Plus, we love teaching as it gives us another outlet to inspire people. For us, life is about finding adventures. It’s not defined by our home but rather what we do together. We appreciate you following along. We thank you immensely for being a big part of our journey! Do you want to know more about us? Drop us a message!
How do we help others travel more?
Whether you are exploring in an RV, tent, a bed & breakfast, or a five-star hotel; we will plan out as much or as little of your travel itinerary so you can focus on making lasting memories. Whether you want to soak up the sun, climb a new mountain, bike on trails you didn’t know existed, kayak or SUP the day away, hike across a country, enjoy new wineries and breweries, or search for local cuisine in a quaint town – we will help you plan your next adventure. If you don’t need any help, then just sit back, relax, and enjoy reading about our travels. Please message us to share your journey with us!
You can read more about our travels on our blog or on our YouTube channel! We would love to hear from you! Connect with us on our contact us page.
We don’t want you to dream about travel, we want you to follow us!
